Sheree, You can minimize the crabs picking at the super glue by wrapping the rock with netting similar to what is used to make dip nets. I got this from www.garf.org. You keep the netting on until the mushrooms attach to the rock on thier own. You use rubber bands to secure the netting.

How often do you drip kalk? How much do you drip at a time? What do you use to drip it? Is that all you do to maintain your PH, ALK and CA? Just looking at easier ways to maintain the proper levels in the water. Thanks

Mine just hang from the power cord.

I would reccommend one for phosphate, calcium and KH for sure. If you have extra money you might get one for silicate, iodine and oxygen but those are not as important that the other three.
