when you put the powerhead in the water tip it upside down so that all the trapped air will get out of it. the bubles are just the ari pockets being puled apart very slowly. i had the same problem until i did this.

i disagree with your disagreement. lol. there is no such thing as perfect water. everything* cant be taken out of the water. the difernces in the ro filtered water between a $300 ro machine and a $100 are way to miniscule to make any differnce in an aquarium. A skimmer is a much different thing...

your eheim should be fine by itself but i would use a skimmer too. how deep the bed should be is av ery broad question but i would say a couple inches. 300lbs is fine. i would put a couple powerheads in the tank though. those things flowrate is only like 500gph

i think they are a waste unless you get a closed circuit rebreather :yes: i dont have one ,they are for the really [hr] divers. i only get to do like 10 dives a year.
