Ok my green star polyp and my yellow gogorian polyps arent opening anymore. Why could this be. I did just add a butterfly fish in the tank but ive never seen him nip at either one of them. I have seen him nip at the rocks though.

water changes are no prob for me. I just dump some ro/di water in my 15 gall tank with a powerhead in it and add salt. I dont get the salinity exactly the same either, i just get it within .002 of what it is

My tang didnt notice it for like 3 days. Keep putting it in the same spot. Now my tang knows instantly when there is seaweed for him in the tank.

I havnt tested mine in almost 2 months. I check for ammonia and salinity and thats it. After i pute in my refugium my water became so stable that i realized i was wasting money testing water every other day. I will test it though if i see somthing wrong. How often do yuo test?

Trust me you want the snails on the glass to. They clean the corners which are hard to reach with mag floats and they clean my over flow and pumps very well.

Id say build a sump with a small refugium and a killer protein skimmer. Then just buy the millenium 3000. The millenium 3000 is for 60 gallon tanks but if you have a refugium and a good skimmer then it doesnt matter. Im running a millenium 2000 (for 40 gallon tanks) in my 65 gallon and it does...
