Cleaning Copper out of a tank... HELP

I had a fish only tank and treated it with copper. I later decided to go to a reef setup. I used a product called Cop-a-Way by Aquatronics, also with a bag of cupri-sorb in my aquaclear filter. With regular water changes it rendered the copper harmless to corals and inverts. I haven't had a...

    odd fish

I don't know about the others but the stone fish is the most venomous fish in the sea. They have been known tho kill humans in many cases just by touching skin. If you don't get killed then you got lucky you only get paralizing pain for about 12 hours.

    Room for another?

Maybe getting a foxface sort of masking the problem!! How old are your light bulbs, or what is the spectrum. Hair algae grows a lot if the bulbs are old and the spectrum is gone.

    ID Please

I have it in my tank as well. It is a plant, I am not sure what the name is. It is preatty but can grow extremely fast. I recently changed my bulbs and the growth slowed down which leads me to believe it is some thing that grows faster in a bad light spectrum.

    Help ID this

I always called it a rock anenome. But everyone is right, get a pepperment shrimp. They do the trick. Don't try to kill it yourself because they are virtually impossible to kill and they spread when you try!!!

    how bad is bubble algae?

If left it can grow out of control like above mentioned. The best thing to do is remove it by hand. BUT don't pop the bubble inside your tank because if the liquid inside is released into the water it will make the problem even worse...

Red slime is usually caused by fluctuations in temperature. From spring to summer you should notice it most. I used a product called Antired made by Aqualine Germany. You give it two dosages in one day. It is completely gone overnight!!!
