I have a shrimp goby that just sifts through the sand looking for extra food. I also have an orchid dottyback that likes spitting sand out of it's home about once a week...

Couple more shots... Second has a great bright orange with purple tip fungus plate... Please excuse the sand on the last one... Just put those in and I guess one was hungry for sand...

Next is what I think is another rainbow with insane pink center. Got this one really cheap because it was two hacked up polyps and now it's starting to grow new polyps... Second is a nice maroon/red with a paler green center. The outer rim on this one is actually starting to get much more...

A nice green acan, maroon/red with green centers and a sweet looking mustard gas acan...

Next one is my AAA ultra rainbow...

Next one is what is now called "afboundguy's LE tuty fruity" because I was mistakenly calling it a tuty fruity which was actually a different acan so the LFS guy agreed to name it after me lol...

IMO it should work. Also as an added bonus you might be able to keep the cube a little cooler if there would be an opening for the water to the air. You could also put a fan there to offset the extra heat from the 2x65W lights...

I actually am from the local forums that Peter (as he's known to us) and I can attest (and anyone else that's seen his tank in person) that those pics don't do it any justice. Peter always has great prices on his frags and is the nicest guy around... I've already gotten 5 or 6 frags from him...

I would highly suggest getting a refugium. You could get an aquafuge. Even though you supplement 500 pods every other week IMO that is not nearly enough and the mandarin/scooter will eventually starve to death. If you get a HOB refugium or one in a sump then they can reproduce to the point...

It's best in the sump. If it's in the display tank all the fish could eat it all.

Do you dose Alk and Mag as well? Without all three balanced it is hard to just keep Calc up. Just remember to only dose if you test...

You could get the bubble trap that CPR makes for the bakpak. It goes over the outlet pipe and you can raise it above the waterline and it just fills up and trickles back down into the tank. I put on of these on because of the micro-bubbles I was having due to some of the addatives I was using...
