    i have never used it. people that do dont use a skimmer. Mr.4000 tank only uses miracle mud, caulerpa and a calcium reactor.....and he has alot of fish, inverts, and corals so i guess it works.

    if it is one spot it could just b sand. if it doesnt come off then then it could be ick or velvet. it can spread easily so a freshwater dip should do it.
