mine have grown like weeds with no work at all.

i also have had great luck with fans. it brought my nano down 5 degrees just letting it blow across my tank while the light was on. i would blow toward the garage, i think that would keep the garage heat off the tank a little better.

all good suggestions from seasalt. take it slow and everything will turn out great. my clown stayed in the corner of the tank for about two weeks until i noticed it in and around the rocks. hard telling what they do when your not watching.

i do have a heater for the winters here in pittsburgh. the heat is not an issue with the ac. on days we don't run the ac i have fan i sit on the fuge and blows across the tank. no problems yet. the tank has only been up since feb so we will see what happens in july and aug.

I was looking at getting an orange plating monti from a frag swap. What is the best way to mount them? (It comes unmounted) Anyone have experience with these?

I have two cats. One loves the tanks and the other never seems to notice. RJ as seen below will sit in front of all them and hit the glass. His favorite is the 90 gallon reef, it is behind the couch and he lays there and watchs happily.

thanks for the input. the store in greentree does not exist anymore, it is an indian food mart. the store in bridgeville, animal krackers, only has display tanks with coral. they don't sell any. i have shopped at elmers but didn't know if anyone traded or sold to them. i guess i should ask...

the number of fish is not a problem, but from what i have read becareful with two watchmen gobys. shrimp do not add to the bio load so you could get more than one.
