You will probably see life again on the rock but everything died since you took the rock out and scrubbed it with fresh tap water. I would not have done that. Everything seemed to be going fine until you did that. you will need to wait for it to cycle again.

The lighting isn't as crucial with a QT unless you plan on putting corals in it. If not adding any corals then any light will work pretty much.

yes, the maroon is the most aggressive of the clowns. I have one with a trigger and the trigger doesn't bother him because the clown put him in his place and the clown is 1.5 inches, the trigger is just over 5 inches.

I think the best thing you can do is take all the rock out of the tank catch all the fish and put in a bucket and take to the LFS to sell them back. You can get nori at lots of food stores way cheaper then at the pet store. It's use in making sushi rolls. I believe at the store it's actualy called nori where at the lfs it usually called algea or seaweed.

You shouldn't have a problem feeding every day with that much live rock. Keep in mind that fish don't metabolize like people do so feeding everyday is not neccessary unless the fish is sick then fieed 3 times a day with vitamins and such. It's normal for us to want to feed the fish at least once...
