As long as you didn't have any contaminents in you other tank, it should be a good thing. Your live rock and water should have a lot of the beneficial bateria that a new tank does not have till it cycles.

I've never used a phosphate remover... If your water quality is bad then a water change would definately help, but you wont know that till you test your water. Of course doing a water change is not going to hurt anything at all ...if you have the time.

Maybe take your water the the LFS to have it tested. From what I understand, inverts are sensitive to water quality. A test kit would be a good investment.

Just remember that a larger tank gives you a little more margin of error than a smaller one does. That will help out when dealing with water quality issues and such.

Wax, you have too much knowledge on all this I know the diffence in the two. I guess I didn't make my point very clear. I was trying to convey that fish in the basslet family don't always like other fish with similar body shapes... or something to that effect.

Pop eye is cause by an infection in the eye so your other fish should be ok.

What anti virus do you use? I use AVG antivirus. It is made by Grisoft. You can download it for free off the net and it seems to work pretty good, for me anyway.

Agreed. I had an aptasia pop up once and I just removed the piece of rock that it was growing on. I haven't seen another one since. I may have just been lucky.

I wouldn't reccommend it. I had a Royal Gramma and a Psuedocromis in the same tank and the psuedo killed the royal gramma. I guess their body shapes were too similar.
