How often do you guys stir up the manually? Iv been running my fingers around just sifting the top inch or so around, i do this before every water chance, I do 5% water changes every week. Should i be doing this or not?

i was considering the automatic feeder but i didnt think it would hold enough for each day... i guess some food is better then no food.

In 2 weeks i will be away from home for about 5 days, whats the best way to keep the tank fed? The tanks lights are already on timers, i would only be worried about the fish getting food.

salinity is 1.022 id have to check the other parimeters. I have a margarita snail that has been alive since i last bought the turbos.... i think some of them fell off the rock and laid upside down for a while which would kill them, i dont know if they can starve to death but i think we bought 10...

I bought rock from a LFS a while back and it had some star polyps on... Days later they were gone... I suspect from my peppermint shrimp but dont know for sure, i dont know if hermits would eat them... But im thinking about buying some zoos from this site... UNLESS whatever ate my polyps will...

Is there any difference between the purple or the green? I have some of both (tank is only 7 month old.. and i dont really like the green to much lol

If anyone has the skimmer i have a question, My injector screw is firing water in all directions when i twist it... The directions say that when you install it a few drops of water should come through thats normal.... but this is not a few drops... its like a i have a sprinkler in my living room...

Should i remove it now or let all the arms fall off as i guess they are still alive?

Thanks for your help, my seaclone never produced much "gunk" in the chamber, hopefully this Aquac Remora skimmer does a much better job.

My Seaclone skimmer started leaking so i took it off the tank, and ordered a Aquac RemoraC skimmer off ----. It wont be here for alittle over a week. Will my tank be ok with out the skimmer for a week or 2? Anything i can do in the mean time?
