I have a canopy over my tank with fans on both sides to keep the heat down. the only problem with a glass cover is that is doesnt allow for oxygen exchange at the waters surface. a canopy is the way to go.

i have seen my sixline eat large flatworms before and he really helps keep the population under control. however he has been bullying my jawfish lately so its time for him to go. I really like wrasses so I think I will try a yellow corris instead of the sixline. those are more peaceful right...

hmm. Well I didnt see the sixline actually attack the jawfish. just some chasing and a bit of a standoff. How much damage can a sixline do? I am getting a bellus angel and would hate for the wrasse to bully it.

i am talking about the white stripes turning an intense red color when the jawfish is around. when they seperate its eyes go back to normal. they meet again and back to red. my jawfish seemed very stressed out last night so I am guessing this is a sign of rage.

ya usually a healthy fish can swim away from a powerhead intake easily.
