most *****'s have a reputation for sick fish but ive found if you put them in a Q-TANK and wait it out , SOMETIMES it goes OK.

my best advice is to try to find a mandrin that will feed on live brine or mysis shrimp before buying it , simply ask the clerk to try to feed it. if it wont eat , dont buy it. Thats what I did and it worked well.

only keep one , but if you must keep two get the opposite ---. Males are commonly darker in color and the females are a lighter color with more red coloration. just my opinion.

As you thought , almost any puffer will eat at corals , the only exception would be soft corals , they might be less desireable to eat.

I think you may be thinking of brine shrimp. They are also called sea monkeys. Mabye , thats just my guess.

I've had much success with my leathers and cut off small "arms" and took them to my lfs for store credit. Also mushrooms are a good selection.

i have two fire fish and they do everything together , they are a little shy but for the most part they are good fish. I would highly reccomend them.
