im looking at gettin a 125 acrylic locally used, it does not come with lights. so im wondering, will i have to use a retro kit? im waiting for the dimensions of it to figure out wattage. id like to stick with t-5 lights.

what condishion is that tank in, are there any scratches on the sides? are they able to be buffed out? what type of lighting did you have for this?

a tall tank would also not have much floor space for rocks and such. so would not be good for a reef a short large diameter circle would work, not very room friendly tho lol

ivr got 2 #2's on my tank, one on each side pointing towards the middle of the front glass. i think there is plenty of flow, they will blow holes in the sand if i got em too low. and when i feed mysis, it takes the stuff about 10min to settle to the bottom

im working on getting the micro bubble broblem fixed. i figure if i run the output tube to a something that is HOB it will get rid of the micro bubble prob.... my AC 300 is not big enough to handle the GPH of the CL SS125, so instead of buying the larger model, i mine as well buy a hob fuge. so...

ive also been messing with mine i tried running PVC pipe to a HOB AC 300 filter, but the flow is just too much for the 300. the water flows out of the filter too fast for all the bubbles to rise to the top. it does get rid of ALOT of the bubbles, but the water level in the filter is to close to...
