Should move the bioballs into the new sump for a brief time just in case?

The tank is about two and a half years old. Its been moved twice...i dunno if that effects anything at all.

I bought a sump/refugium and want to swith it to replace my wet dry set up. My tank is 100 gallons I have appoximately 100 pounds of live rock and 100 pounds of live sand. My question is, how do I switch over without shocking or even crashing my system? The wet dry has bio balls in it...

I have a spare hang on the back refugium in my garage. Its measurements are;; height 12 inch length 14 inch width 4.5 inch Would this be sufficient enought for a 100 gallon tank?

What about doing 25% water changes every three days to reduce the nitrates to 0. Would that be too much stress on teh fish and corals?

Using this to reduce nitrates would have what kind of impact in a reef aquarium?

I too have lucked out with tangs in my tank. I have a 100 gallon and have kept a blonde naso, hippo, yellow, and gold rim for about a year now. I pushed my luck by gettign a powder blue but got rid of him due to him getting beat down by the gold rim. BTW...i'm done with fish in my tank now...

Appreciate the response guys...i call the powder blue "unicorn" because of the movie gone in 60 seconds. The mustang is the car he just can get without getting busted so he calls it his unicorn. Well the powder blue is the only fish casuaslty that i have had and it is truely the only fish i want.
