I've got a Huma and a Niger in my tank. The niger is the bigger of the two. But the huma is by far more aggressive in nature. When it comes to feeding none of the fish in my tank are shy. Everyone goes for everything, for which I'm grateful. I've had the huma for about a year and a half...
Hmmmm, as I guessed. Not a strong opinion either way. My concern is that with the two most available species being so close that I have a good chance of getting a reef destroyer.
Back to the drawing board:confused:
What was the "crap" from ---- and why didn't you like it. I was thinking of some of that base rock the guy from Hawaii was offering. But if it's "crap?"
And by the way. Great buy!
Has anyone had any good experiences with a Heniochus in a reef tank? Tank size? Tankmates? Research indicates some may do great while others may attack sessile inverts.
Try doing a search on broomer5's sump design. That's kinda what DVS is referring to. Or broomer if you're around post your famous pics. Great design and can be modified for any size system.

Good luck!
Here's Ocea's website where you can find more information. My LFS has several custome tanks by them. Excellent workmanship and they'll give you what you want. By the way they're not affiliated with Oceanic.

I'm using the mag 7 on mine and am also pleased. Would be curious to know your results with the mag 9.5 though. Please let us know if it is indeed more efficient.

Hey, it's after 12 someplace in the world right?:)
Here's the new colt I picked up this week. Kip, thanks with the placement thoughts. It seems happy where it's at. I decided to "bounce" water off the glass toward it instead of full stream.
