electric shock w/pics what should i do?-meter reading 41 volts

Have you tried a different wall outlet? I find it kind of strange that ALL equipment is sending voltage into that tank. I can see one of the items but all items? Just don't seem right. It almost has to be the plug or the surge protector.

    Biocube problems?HELP!(PICS)

You can put a piece of fine filter floss in front of the carbon pad. I have done this time to time with a Phosphate pad for phosphate removal. You will see with these tanks you need a little mods sometimes. I'm running phosban filter bag in front of the carbon as we speak.

    Backup power supply necessary?

125 gallons = alot of time and money = one small generator. I had to do it living in the midwest and I feel alot better during storms. Plus my refrigerator and other things stay running. The only problem is the gas cost. Expensive to run for days at a time.

What size tank? It might be to small for a lawnmower. How old are the lights? I changed my lights and problem solved. My PC's only lasted 10 months.

how often to change lights in the nano?

As far as your PC's in that nano. Once mine hit 10 months, hair algea started. I pulled the algea out and replaced the bulbs. Problem solved. So I'd say 10 months.

    Biocube problems?HELP!(PICS)

I had the same problem. Increase you water level a little above Max. I don't even know why they put that max level on the side. I have a Sapphire skimmer in my second sump and the level has to be 2 inches above the Max mark. What I did was, once you have the level right with no bubbles, mark...

Looking for help with a nano

I think with the nature of where you are putting the tank, I would look at one of the all-in-one nano tanks. They make some really nice tanks with all the filteration built in. Also lots of lighting options now. Just my 2 cents.

    BioCube and Loc Line

I at one time wanted to do the same thing. What I opted to do was add an additional powerhead. Hydor 1 is what I'm using. Works great and stock return is left alone.

Take a look at the Saphire Aquatics skimmers. I have one on my 29 BioCube and it works wonders. They also make one for your tank.

OH you have got to be kidding me!

It don't look like the zoo's are concerned. They are nice and opened up. I think I'd let them ride around awhile and see what happens.
