not a problem, unfortunatly i will have to wait about six month to start. my house will be finished being built by then. i would hate to move another tank. the one i have will already be a nightmare.

they had A couple and one was in the sand and the other looked like it was on the rock. all three had the same general shape of a thumb or something similar. i just looked up the name and the pic look almost identical. i am just guessing that was the correct ID.

well i think i have decided i will buy a 36" long tank to match my other one. Fill it with a mix of LS and some Caribsea. One or two large LR's and just go from there. then over the coarse of a couple months slowly add more live rock. then i think i can have a nice little HH tank.

i even am able to feed mine really small pieces of krill. i use frozen krill for my emarald, cleaner, and anemones, and now him.

i would really love to see a full grown diamond goby one day in person. i have seen both a Yellow Jawfish and a Lawnmower Blenny full grown and i was amazed. the LB was like the size of a large salamander. the Yellow Jawfish was huge too, but not as plump and the LB. F-ing sweet. i love to here stuff like that. he is one of my most prized posessions. when i first got him and he grew and was happy, i became deaply attached. i think that the anemone has to be one of the cool animal ever.

i plan to really have nothing in the second tank. i have been contumplating a hitchhiker only tank. i put the idea up for discussion in the reef forum. thanks. i was just wondering if people have tried it and maybe their mixed results.

has anyone tried to have two tanks run into just one sump or refugium.

i bought it as a haitian condi anemone, i dont know if that is what it really is. i think it is doing really good. it has grown and is always puffed up.

192 watts pc, i realize most would say i need MH and some not. you think light would cause it to get darker. wouldnt it get lighter and look bleached if the light wasnt sufficient?

is it normal for an anemone to change so much in color. as you can see from the pics it went from a light pinkish tan when i first bought it to a almost brownish purple. let me know if something wrong.

maybe, but i would definatly do alot of reaserch before i buy anything more complex than some zoo or shrooms. i just was curious and still am there were alot of things i didnt reconize. :notsure:

you should be able to grab a bag at the LFS. if not, go to the manufactures website and do a search for local businesses that sell it.

i had cloudy water because of mine, i put cotton batting in the filter and that seemed to help alot. it came in a big bag next the the filter supplys. i still have a thin layer of dust all over my rocks but i guess that is the price i will have to pay.

the only thing i have to say is i have a coral beauty and a diamond goby and the coral beauty will not stop chasing it around the tank. maybe mine is just a little more aggresive than normal but it is something to think about.

you either have to downsize the pic or use some photo website, there is a thread all about it in the photo message board.
