I have a 55 gallon reef tank with compact flourecents. 2 65w 10,000k and 2 6500 actinic. Is this light sufficient for a rose anenome? I always get tripped up when it comes to the lights..

I have read the leds are good for accent lighting but should not be counted for all light for fish tank. Is this true???

Sometimes you can do everthing right and the end result is death. I would take it so hard , the puffer might have been doomed before you made your purchase.

How long do I have before the eggs hatch? In the tank Right now I have the two Percs(as mentioned), flame angel , yellow tang, feather duster, emerald crab, peppermint shrimp, chocalate star, and turbo snails.

I noticed this under a shell in my tank. I have two false percs and not sure if this is eggs or not. I am not trying to mate the fish and have other fish in tank. If it is eggs now what???? .

They are turbo snails.

Man they are small but I will try to get some pic's....It freaked me out seeing them all over the place.

I found that my snails have multiplied. I just found maybe a dozen little baby's in addition to the 3 I already had. How many is too many for a 55gal? Just don't want them to starve if that is possible..

I was told today that sometimes they drop their crowns when they move and it is normal. Anybody elso back that up. Just curious........

I just noticed small little bugs running around on the live rock and the floor of my fish tank. They are to small to take a pic of, but they look simillar to ants. Any idea what they can be and if they are harmful??

Thank you for the responses. If you could see the hole that the fish made it through it was a very small openning. I guess thats what amazed me the most. Now I'm in the market for a new fish b4 my little daughter finds out LOL.
