I'm wondering about my sandsifter seastar. Can it be target fed? If so, how and what???

I thought I researched the sandsifter seastar before I got it, but.... after I got it I learned that my tank is probably too small for it (29 gal). Is it possible to target feed them? If so, how and what?????????????????????? :help:

This is probably a crazy question, but when feeding a starfish, do you put it on top of them or under them. :thinking:

I was having the same problem. I removed the glass top and got a little clip on fan at Target for 7.99. I positioned it where it blows across the top of the tank. So far my temps have been staying much more consistent. Good Luck! :happyfish

I have a clown, cardinal, and pseudochromis in a 30 gallon tank. At my LFS, they told me to feed them 1/4 of a cube of frozen fish/squid/ etc. Should I be giving them any kind of supplements or doing anything else? I have had them for about a month and so far they look pretty healthy.

I would like to know the answer to Salty's question too. Anybody out there?

I have a purple pseudochromis who rules the tank. She is definitely the alpha fish. She keeps forcing my cardinal fish to a back corner of the aquarium. Every time he attempts to come out, she charges at him and he runs back. I've never seen her actually touch him but she won't let him out...

If you just change a little bit (10%) every week, you don't ever have to change it all out...

Live rock is well worth the investment! :happy:
