IMO for a fuge go RR, cheaper, and more surface area, but im a NooB ;)

we bought one for our 55g, but are going to upgrade tanks sometime after Xmas (to a 120-180 still debating on size). the first day he scared us, didnt move much, hiding laying on his side in between gaps in the LR, then a few days later he would stay put right by the heater, w/in 2 weeks or so...

ya ignore the tank overflow q... bad case of head-up-rear-itis, was thinking about it and figured it out myself... I just have to find a check valve for the return (sump->tank) lone to keep it from overflowing........ do you just buy one @ Home Depot or similar in the plumbing dept?
