could be the angle is nipping at polyps alot of angles like to nip at polyps even the dwarf species. i dot think any angle is 100% guramntee reef safe. not that some havnt had sucess i think there very likly to be the cause of polyps not extending

ive had my anenome under 2 65watt pc bulbs for well over a year without problems. so you can keep with pc ive seen many friends keep aneomes with pc also.

removeing is diffucult unless you use like a turkey baster, i leave them in hermits and other critters eem to clean up quickly. i dont know of any negative effects as long as it gets eaten you should be ok

you can get glass cut at a window and glass co. in your area and usally not to expensevve. you have a snowflake eel? in a tank thats only 30x9? how many gal. is that? isnt it a bit small for a fish that gets that big or is it just a temp. home?

the mineral mud has ha high nutrient content good for mangroves which i have in fuge also really noticed increase in pods within a month or 2 after adding i guess eveyone has own likes/dislikes and expeinces cuase we all dont have exact same setup

i have mud and sand mixed in fuge about 1 - 1 1/2 deep no problems. added mud about year ago. i would defintally say go buy some live sand also no telling what could be in sand you harvested

fish only digest approx. 25% of food which is why you dont want to overfeed and you need scavengers aka. pepermint shrmp to clean up waste.

ther probly scared of coral beuty. they wont eat huge aptasia unless there huge pepermints. i would turn off pumps and hit them with some joes juice. i have 1 peprmint in 29 gal and never have had aptasia problem
