I would be real careful on what chemicals you put on plastics, I know that if you put brake clean on polycarbonate it makes the whole sheet brittle instantly. Polycarbonate is strong stuff till brake clean hits it.

It cost around $20+ for 2nd day and $40+ for overnight. Big differnce. Summer would have been alot better, and heat packs are a must. One of the two trades I recieved made it the other was DOA.

I have 2 number 2's and a mj 900 in a 20 gallon tank. It is an sps tank. I have the mj 900 at the water surface to airate, and the 2 koralia pointing at a large rock in the center. Love the koralia's.

So what your saying is to put a picture in the box of what the stuff used to look like before you shipped it. So I think we should measure our success rate in percentage. Isistius did I even make 50%.

Do you have fisk? Mine does it less now that I have fish.

I use a throttled back Mag 7. It has 1/2 inch pipe going up and 3/4 going back down. It is about a 8' height differance. I throttle it back for 2 reasons. The 3/4 return can't take the flow and second all the water goes through a phosban reactor and the media can't take anymore flow. Good luck

I had a geasy film on my tank and the power head thing didn't work for me. I got ride of it easily using the Tupperware meathod. I think you get about half the stuff out with the water going over the edge of the bowl and the other half sticks to the outside of the bowl when you push it in and...

As others will say you need more surface agitation. When my tank gets that oily film I skim it out with a Tupperware bowl. I let the water flow over the rim of the bowl at a good rate and throw the water out. After doing it a couple times a day for a couple of days it usually goes away. Nice...
