Yeah, you just crack open the shell, rinse it and throw it in (meat and shell). My Pearlscale is really shy right now and it's been stopping her from eating with the rest of my fish, so I added the clam and she took to it very soon (I hid and watched haha).

It's probably best if you don't get the Cleaner Wrasse. They don't usually live very long in captivity.

I think that you should take a breather and relax for a second. Fish can go for long whiles without food (even up to two weeks). There is no reason to lose hope now just because she hasn't eaten for one or two days. It may even be a good idea to stop feeding her for a few days so she develops...
