Thanks to all for your replies - I probably was not as clear on the scratching. The fish was scratching soon after I purchased it and had had in QT for a few days. I then started the treatment and have not seen any scratching in over 12 days. Thanks again - It goes in my tank in the morning.

I have a 120 Gallon reef with 100 lbs. of LR. I am curious about how much circulation to have in the tank and the best places to have it. I currently have two maxi-jet mp500's. (One in each corner.) Just wondering if more circulation would help with minor algae/junk build up on the bottom.

Flamehawk - I am really interested in the sohal - I think they are so cool. I actually ordered one and let them sale it before I could get it in my tank - I guess I had second thoughts - I had heard that that go pretty aggressive.

Flamehawk - I knew I might get a few of those questions. Since I really do not have much in the tank they get along great. I think since they all have room to move around without getting in each others way. Actually - much of the time they are swimming together.

I am certainly not the expert - but i believe what you are referring to sound like what mine does. Every 4 or 5 days it will shrink up - I think they do some sort of water exchange or something - but after a day or so it will be back to normal.

Just wanted to get some opinions - do you guys have anemones in your reef. I have heard that they roam around while roaming can sting other corals. I have also read that they are a mstake for most reef setups.

I guess I should clarify - the refugium will be placed underneath my tank in the cabinet.

I am putting in a 20 gallon refugium on my 120 reef tank. I need a pump that is strong enough to push the water up about 4-5 feet. Is there any sort of rule for this? I just didn't want to get one to powerful because I wanted to keep the water flow to a fairly slow rate. Any suggestions?

All I read on this board are all the problems people have with Powder blue tangs - I would like to hear a few success stories - I love the fish - are they an absolute fish to avoid or am I only hearing one side of things.
