i bought this little 7 gallon bow front (on sale at ***** for 12 bucks) and i modded the NO fluorescent strip and put 2 of the smaller spiral compact fluorescent bulbs in it (cool blue) and it has mushrooms, zoos, gsp and xenia in it. the gsp hasnt / probably wont open but the zoos and mushrooms...

the aquascaping looks freakin awesome... that is going to look really nice.

i think in a situation like that youre supposed to wash the live sand with water change water (or new saltwater if you want to waste it...) and add some every couple days or every week. i would think youd be able to add all new sand to the sump though, i think its mostly that you dont want to...

well, went to my first frag swap.. it was awesome. i got tons of stuff... african green tree 9 colors of zoos candy cane some gsp some of what they called yellow tipped xenia (which im guessing is actually like.. green clove polyps) 10 pounds of live rock orange ric. yuma a 5 gallon bucket full...

awh crap. it only seems to do it when its looking straight out at the front of the tank... if it is ich, what can i do about it? the fish is in my dt so id like to treat them all at once if possible? thanks a bunch

i bought sixline wrasse from some people a couple days ago... its not shy, it likes to be out and stuff... looks fantastic, eats... etc. but sometimes it looks like its having these mini seizures? is that normal? it just kinda moves its head around weird and then back to swimmin.. thanks

live rock is live because it has bacteria and hitch hikers (sponges, various types of pods, etc, etc) if you put "dead" live rock in itll take some time but if you have LIVE live rock itll "seed" it and it will become "live" again. hope that helps...
