The easiest thing to do is use a good quality reef salt mix. Something like Seachem ReefSalt or Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. Reef salt mixes have the additional trace elements needed to sustain most corals. Regular water changes will replenish the trace elements that are consumed by the corals...

I have also had success with Peppermint Shrimp getting rid of aiptasia. Unfortunately, one of my fish ate all my peppermints. I suspect my Orange Spotted Goby. He's the only one with a mouth big enough to eat them.

You have to manually clean the glass. You can get a Mag-Float for that. As for the heat, positioning a fan to blow across the top of the tank should help some. Maybe a small clip on fan that you can clip to the top of the tank.

You want the overflow to have a little higher flow rate than the pump. That way your pump won't overflow the display tank. However, if you bought a 600 gph overflow and an 600 gph pump, you should be fine as the flow rate from the pump is diminished as it pushes water up to the tank.
