I'm toying with the idea of moving my 55 gallon tank to another part of my house, and setting up my 29 gallon as a fuge next to it. The 55 is drilled for a 1 1/4" drain, and a 1" return, the 29 is not drilled. The bottom of the tanks will be at the same height, but the 29 is about 6" shorter...

I've read that a 400W HPS ballast will run 400W MH bulbs (overdriving them to 430W I believe). Anyone know if a 150W HPS will run 150W (or 175W single ended for that matter) MH bulbs? The ballast is a Universal HPS, part number s150mltlc3m if that helps. Thanks for any info.

I am getting a couple of tanks that are used. 100 and a 125. I dont know what has been used in them, but is there a fail safe way to clean the tank of anything harmful before I set them up? Any help would be great!

Thing is barely a month old, and the bubbles have completly stopped. I took out the powerhead, and cleaned it out, and it started back up for about 30 seconds, then stoppped again. Any ideas?

Got 1 false perc, and I want more. I love them. My LFS swears by not adding more to a clown that has already been there a while. I wouldnt mind having 4 or 5, as I have a BTA and a LTA for them to play in. Not sure on everyone else's experience with clowns and introducing additional ones...
