Well, looks like I shouldn't have moved the rock away from the glass. My anemone is on the move now. JUST GREAT!!
Wonder where the monster will move to?? I hope he goes back where he was.

Maybe. But he had pushed the back rock up against the glass and no flow could pass thru. So today, I moved it back about an inch from the glass. So far it looks like he is moving back towards the rock. Hopefully!

Well, he has worked his way to the front left side of the right island. I had to move my neon trumpets away from him. I am not sure if he will move again once the lights come on. It wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't so big. I will have to keep an eye on him, and move any corals that he might reach.

Well, my nitrates are coming down. I would say that before they were probably 20- 30 based on the color chart. Today, I can say they are between 10-20. so I will say 15. Regardless, it's a drop.....

I need to report as well that the orange dark colored algae that appeared on the first section of sand that I had replaced does not look like its getting worse. Yet anyway lol. Usually it gets thicker and darker.. I will keep an eye on it.

This is hilarious. SIP, this one is for you. My horoscope for today says: Although luck will be an important factor in the success of a big project, you still must be industrious and productive. Know how to utilize both fortune and skill, and YOU'LL COME OUT ON TOP!!!!
LMAO. I just had to post that.....

Thanks guys. Since the anemone just moved there, I don't know what will happen. I will watch them and if I think they are getting stung I might be able to adjust the rock higher. But the anemone is bigger than that when he wants to be. I have owned him now for 8yrs. Thanks for looking. ;)

Well the anemone is staying there so far. I guess it's not a bad spot for him. I just know how big he can get, so he will be able to reach several things including the hole that the tail spot blenny lives in. poor guy. :( So I moved the rock around the best I could so he wont get caught in a tentacle lol. I am gonna go test my nitrates, hopefully they are down more today. ;)

Ordered new t-5 bulbs. I decided to go with a couple ati true actinics with this change out, and a couple regular 460nm actinic blues. Also ordered all new filter media/filters/chemipure. It's not time to change it again, but I am gonna do it just to step it up some. Making up some new water for the last change out of the sand. I am gonna do this in about 4 days. Then we will see if it helps or not. ;)

Thank You Sip. I feel like your my personal cheering squad!! LOL. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I found one more blue legged hermit at the lfs today. I grabbed him up and put him into the tank. He is munching away on a rock. So that brings the count up to 5 lol. Seth with love that!! ;)
