OOOOOHHH and also, I have a HOB fuge. I am in the process of figuring out how to make a fuge out of a 5 gal hex that I have, W/O drilling my tank. Any thoughts? I will get to that when I have time. But for now, the HOB has been doing beautifully. When I built it, I did buy another batch of pods and put them in the fuge to settle in the LRR and things and then turned the flow back on the next day after they had settled. I see tons of pods in my tank and I have alot of rock. I do pay close attention and if there starts to be a problem, I am going to take him back, or just buy alot more pods. I don't mind replacing them weekly if it comes down to it.
As for sumps and fuges and things, I am already planning on upgrading and getting something pre drilled and with a fuge and sump. Now that I have had a tank, I understand that when people told me "a sump and fuge aren't necessary, They were stupid. Not having one makes my life alot harder. I have now realized how badly I want one... So I am already planning an upgrade. Now- More pics:
