My zoa colony is growing some.
The encrusting gorgonian is doing well. Also, my orange montipora on my overflow box is growing some. I'm happy to say that it is fully recovered and can now begin growing! woohoo!

My nepthea is doing really well. It's huge! About the size of a basketball now!

weird side angle shot that I have never been able to get because of the bad distortion and glare. I'm getting better with my photography skills. According to my photography friend, I need to work on staging. I agree. lol.

Seth, you're a genius.
I completely forgot about the "coral on the overflow" trick. I have a couple encrusting montis that will look fantastic on that big old RR overflow. Might intersperse them with some GSP. The thing is mostly purple already, but I do want it blended more than that.

This is indeed a good idea. I had my purple rimmed monti glued on mine when it was around an inch big. By the time I took it off it had grown completely around my box and shaded the entire left side if my tank. It is now in my lady's tank. You should take progression shots as it grows and reaches upward to form the plates.

This is indeed a good idea. I had my purple rimmed monti glued on mine when it was around an inch big. By the time I took it off it had grown completely around my box and shaded the entire left side if my tank. It is now in my lady's tank. You should take progression shots as it grows and reaches upward to form the plates.

So, went to jackson, MS today. Visited the new live fish store there.
Bought:
green scroll
blue tip torch coral
blue/green tree/nepthia.
Medium colony of gsp.
Yup.

Well, i bought all my gardening materials i needed for this season. Got moneyto spare still on some seed. So i am good. Decided to start saving for my homestead as well.

No, they havent. Tried to do it from my phone. Somewhere between photobucket and posting a direct link on here, it messed up. Oh well.
I turned the lights on for a half hour this morning and everything started coming out and doing fine. Even the gsp which took a week or so in my other tanks.
Going to change out the carbon soon just to have some peace of mind.
