They are overpaid. I can tell you ALL kinds of cop stories. I think for the most part they are lazy too. Hence why I am such a big supporter of carrying rights.
We all know how tough and manly you are ,you have told us already. So why don't you go defend and help people that you don't know as well. One might say that a guy who sits at a desk and reads invoices and complains about money being spent is over paid and useless too.I'm not saying it but someone might.Do you think your worth your weight and why?

Ouch, trying to gab me personally instead of addressing the idea's I'm proposing...

And I am worth my weight, I've save clients hundreds of thousands of dollars a year by finding mistakes or bills not compliant to contracts. And in turn my company bills me out with a significant gross profit margin.
It blows my mind the "mistakes" that are made.

My intentions are not to attack you personally.I just disagree with you blanket statement that th Law Enforcement Officers are over paid, lazy and are free to do as they wish short of murder without being fired based on hearsay.
So you say you are worth your weight because you do your job. What make you think you deserve the amount of pay you receive? How hard could your job possibly be?What if someone else fresh out of college offers to do your job for less?are you ok with that?

Yes i have ...on the field side of the business, the estimator bid the jobs for x-amount of money to be done in X-amount of man hours. It was my job to make sure that it was done efficiently within the scope of the time table given. Ive done this for large and small companies.

relax I'm fresh out of college. 2 years.
It is an extry level position.
I'm worth my weight because I add more value to the company than they pay me. Hence they make money.
I don't think law enforcement officers are over paid. I do think they are as a whole lazy. But what I want them to do vs what they actually can is something totally different. But next time you've been involved in a hit and run, and the ossifer doesn't even want to file a police report or follow up on something when my friend is holding the perps license plate in his hand. And we have to call a friend who was the guys boss in order to get anything done. If you still don't think cops are lazy. Then we'll talk.
I also think, that dealign with the types of people they deal with on a daily basis I'd be a bit jaded and lazy too.

And how would the police fix this situation? If I am in a position for this to happen, the police aren't much help until AFTER the fact. I still am beaten and hospitalized minus my possessions. Thus conceal and carry is a great thing.
Its getting off topic and i have threw my point out there already so ill end it there.

No he hasn't, otherwise he would know how much it should cost a company to mow a lawn.
He is from up north. Maybe they don't have grass up there or something.
But seriously, here grass grows 10 out of the 12 months of the year. If they have long winters the may just have a few weeks of growing, and just not worry about it. Like I couldn't tell you how much it would cost to get my driveway snowblowed...

Dont you think thats a little arogant?Who told you that your more valueable to the company than what they pay you?Or do you just assume you are.Matbe your boss wont think so when that guy wearing the gown comes walking through the door.

If he was in arizona/parts of new mexico, I could accept this as grass is rarely seen here due to the water needs. But most of the U.S. has grass or lawns.

Grass lawns.... Snowblowing....
You guys are starting to grasp at straws here. What does this have to do with organized labor?
Considering GM is paying a union member 106,000 a year for lawn maintenance, obviously something...

And I didn't ask if they could. I asked if you think they should be union.
"IF" it where an option and it isn't.That would be up to the military of the Uniter States Of America to decide if they wanted to or not.But if we are going to be ridiculously hypothetical a military coupe would probably be more beneficial for them.
