Jawfish

Clowns
You alwasy want to add least aggressive first, most aggressive last.
OH, OK...so Then I can't really add anything yet if the jawfish is first until I get my netting done...
Did I ask you if you thought veiling would work? (on top)..I'm thinking it can be attached to the eggcrate...even stitched on
LOL...I know I thought it, I just can't seem to find if I asked it or not???

I think you would be safe adding the blenny first then the jaw if you ARE IN A HURRY

I don't personally like the eggcrate only because I am fearful it would cut down too much light. Its real name is light diffuser so
. Then add on some veil, which seems pretty girly girl in the first place, and I think you would really cut down on the light.

GIRLY...LOL....I have eggcrate on the 225g, and the lighting seems fine.
I'm not in a hurry GEEZ
For some reason I thought if netting would work, why not something like veiling

Kinda like the same stuff, only with really tiny holes..LOL...I wonder if you can find some with bigger holes...hmmm

HMMMM...I was looking at a marine compatability chart, and the pseudochromis (Dottyback) are supposedly compatible with the clowns, blennies, jawfish, and even invertebrates......Ya KNOW..this gets really confusing sometimes...
I dunno about the pseudochromis... I had a purple one and he was terrorizing everyone in my tank had to take all my rocks out ( OF MY 150) and net the little bugger out took like 2 hours of painstaking chasing and rock rearranging so if i were you i would shy away from the pseudochromis family

I have a pseudochrmis (they call it a royal dottyback on this site) in my 225g that doesn't seem to mess with anything,
BUT since this is for a 29g...I will take the advice given by both you and My dear friend Henry
and stay away from these potentially "mean" fish
Thanks

Yeah if you plan to have some SPS coral the gobies can irritate them just because they sit their little selves on them, even if they don't take a bite.
In my 29 bio cube;
2 Black ocellaris Amphiprion ocellaris var
1 Mystery wrasse Pseudocheilinus ocellatus
1 Tailspot blenny Ecsenius stigmatura
1 Bali tiger jawfish Opistognathus sp.
1 Guest One spot foxface. Siganus unimaculatus
WOWEE!!!! I just saw that the Black Ocellaris are $34.99 each....

Are you surprised because it's cheap or expensive???
I call it a pseudochromis

chaeto light will work well. How's your temperature? Do you need fans too? That might conflict with the netting...

Glad to hear about the window a/c

I asked about QT because I am wondering...if you buy all your fish online, you can't get them all at once, so paying for shipping several times would be terrible...

Not really...it's $19.99 for shipping...I will buy the first one or possibly 2, and also some more coral for my 225g

Then in a couple of week...buy the last 2...and some more coral for my
225g

I have a couple in my 29. They are not the murderous snail killers that blue legs are. They are lazy compared to the blue legs. I like them though I don't think they add much clean up capacity.
