Just curious, will coral kill a sponge if it touches it.My LFS got in some red ball sponges,and i'd like one,but without moving things all around the only place i can fit it in would be close to my hammer coral,i don't think that much of it would touch,but some would.Thanx for your thoughts.

they are great for this,but the down side of these fish is that they are not really concered reef safe,and they are hard to get to started eating,but of course there are people that have kept them and everthing worked out for the best.

i really don't think that it will hurt anything,it will just get used up,it usually is some what cloudy,if there's to much in there it would look like it was snowing in the tank,do you have a test kit for calicum if way to high maybe do a water change or just wait it out.i wouldn't put anything...

I wouldn't give up yet,1 of my tanks took about a year to start looking nice.But i have heard that some people never have alot of growth on there rock.Just like every thing else in this hobby you have to be patient.I see that this is your first post,so welcome to the board.
