    Awsome~! cmiles: His byssal threads were completely detached from the shell. it looks like the entire "clump" of threads has just fallen off. He only fell about an ince. Just enough to flip his on his face. Tizzo: Thanks and ive read that thread on the snail you speak of but havent noticed...

    So ive had this crocea for almost a year and this morning I find it face first in the sand and his byssal threads completely detached from his shell and tissue??? Im guessing he just out-grew the hole he was previously attached to. But why would he drop his byssal threads? I fliped him over...

    Good question~! I DO know that some corals do better under the white spectrum. But I dont think the change will affect the corals all that much.
