    maroon clown s

It's possible but usually doesn't work. For whatever reason female Maroons seem to be very choosy. The best chance of success would be with a very small Mate.

Flame Angel and Coral Beauty in a 75 Gal Long

I had one of each of those in a 155 and there were no issues. I don't think the 75 would be significantly different for dwarf angels.

    Snake's Guide to Cycling

Shrimp tails seem perfect for medium to large tanks. I think most people plop in an entire shrimp though. I like the idea of shrimp tails. Just save a bunch & freeze them from a shrimp dinner. Plop on in once every day or two. That should work. It might be too much for the smaller tanks...

what would be a good firefish tankmate

My opinion is that the Firefish is too high energy to do well in a 10 gallon. A couple Neon Gobies and a Clown Goby could work.

    Snake's Guide to Cycling

I've always just used fish food. It's more precise than a large piece of shrimp. For me, the idea is to create a small steady supply of ammonia. As long as there is a measurable amount of ammonia the bacteria are not food limited.

75 Gal with stand and canopy on carpet

My 155 gallon is on carpet. Hasn't been a problem. Just be sure it's perfectly level and shim it if needed. Don't put it too close to the wall.

what would be a good firefish tankmate

Homemade fish food would be best in my opinion. Second would be frozen cyclop-eeze and minced Mysis shrimp.

    Hitchhikers - yuk

I've used a tall water glass before. Just lean it against the rock with a piece of seafood in the bottom. At night the crab will climb into the glass to get the food and not be able to climb back out.

I don't think that's a Sea Spider, it looks like a crab to me.

    Anenome?

Those are the Hydroid stage of jellyfish - not a good thing. They have a powerful sting and can outcompete corals for space.

    Linckia Sea Star

You passed the first step of spelling the name correctly :D They are VERY very sensitive to salinity changes. They eat the bacterial slime found on surfaces so a lot of rocks (surface area) to graze is needed. Other than that I think the blue ones are the most difficult and the multiflora the...

what would be a good firefish tankmate

Neon Goby would have a far better chance of success over the other fish you mentioned.
