I have one grip!!! He stated that he had MH over his sump??? Looks like a Lights Of America model # 9027 to me!!! BTW my dial up connection had no problems with that site!!!
I have several different kinds of coral. I put them all in straight from the bag to the tank, with no problems. They don't seem to get stressed. Ex. new frogspawn no acclimation opened up big within a few hours and is still living 2 months later.
The aragonite will cloud the water for a while. Both of my tanks had "dust storms" with no loss of fish or coral... <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />
I did the mod and my noise has been cut down at least 90%. Thanks for the great info. I may downsize the sump feed line in the future. Right now everything is working and I couldn't be happier!!!!!!!!!!!! And when the power goes off I only drain back about 2 gallons!!!
I used a 1" cpvc mpt and screwed a 1" cpvc female onto the male. (male end of coupling inside box) and sealed them with an o-ring and sealer. I then adapted that to 1 14" tubing from the hardware store. It wasn't flexible so I had to use 90 degree elbows to route to my sump.. So far it is all...
I thought of getting one for my 55g reef. Price will keep me away for a while, but I will have to get one to have a sump. No room under tank stand. Any info on these would be appreciated.. By the way I think links are now allowed.....????
Heshe is doing great... I've had it about a week now it it opens up really nice. It has about 5 heads on it with new "baby" heads all over the main branches.. It was tank raised and I bought from a wholesaler that is about 20min from me..
I would put what ever fish I could in that tank to eat those damsels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pound for Pound the most aggressive fish! I just dismantled my reef to get rid of the remaining 3 damsels what a nightmare!!
