I have a 29 gallon FOWLR soon to be reef tank and was wondering if anyone could share info about any cardinalfish. Do there need to be more than one in order for them to thrive? Are they aggressive? Are they prone to any ailment? What do they eat?

I also by RO Water from my LFS. For a 6 gal. container it cost me 9.99 but I also got the first 6 gallons for free. For every gallon it costs me .50 a gallon.

Do you have a carnivorous star? If so, that could be the reason. My chocolate chip star started to eat my snails so I sold to my LFS. Also Turbo Snails have the tendency to fall down and not able to right themselves. This leaves them as fair game for anything that hungry.
