    ususaly wait a month to add each fish, but snce you added so amny from your previous tank, wait 3-4 months now for the bio spike to go down, then add one very month or so, add the linkia in like 8-9 months, thye need mature tanks with lots of alage.

    i have shipmemnt coming from SWF.com 50 hermits 25 snails, 5 emerald crabs, 10 pepe shrimps i PERSOANLY love hermits, when i go on vacation in maxico, i take alage and stick it in a tide pool filled with snails, hermits, shrimp, fish, the only thing that go straight to the alage are the crabs...

    you most liekly had many little cells floating aorund, and when you added the spring water they bloomed off the nutrients, resume using RO/DI they will run out or nutrients and die down, they will never really "die" there will always be numbers of cells, but you are able to decide if they bloom...

    the best filter i could tell you is a Protien skimmer, Skimmers arent cheap, even Hang on backs are expensive, i just got an ASM G2 for my 55, for $260, it is rated for 200 gallons (i think :notsure: ) but they sell ASM G1's for $200 rated at 150g, way enough for you tank, and at a great price...

    sound slike a good idea, but if you want it all antural get a refugium, great biological filtration, and maybe put an in sump skimemr in there, better then a HOB anyday! DSB are a hot topic, i personaly like the shallow sand beds becuase you dotn have to keep adding microfuana kits to the sand...

    in sump skimmers are best, the more area the water and air bubbles have to miz in the better, in sump skimemrs are great! but for a smaller tank like yours you best bet would be a hangon back, although an insump would still be great for your tank, its kinda overkill.

    put tank water in a little container, add the frozen foods, i slowly put the food in as it thaws and add more water to keep the water warm and unthawing it faster. in the container add your inhancements like garlicjuice, cyclopezze plankotn etc...

    Skimmer options for a closed loop system

    Get a sump and get an ASM skimmer or a Euro-reef skimmer (ASM skimmers are made by the second half of euro-reef, so they both are great skimmer, but ASM skimemrs are made out of clear PVC instead of acrylic, so you save hundreads of $$ for the same thing!) ASM and euros are the best you can get!

    those are lettuce nudies, they have a low survival rate, but if you can mangae to get some in yoru ump/fuge they might live.

    105 pounds of sand you will ened for a 4 inch sandbed, i did that on another site and thats what i got. yes clams and anemoens need very strong light depends on what kinds of corals, LPS, softies, shrooms?

    yeah MH are the best for reefs, i persobnaly like HQI bulbs because they generate on less electricity while being brighet, dual 150w HQIs, or dual 250W HQIs are bother really good!
