Yeah, those fish look wicked. I was just reading the recommended minimum tank size is 20 gallons. I'm tempted to turn my QT into a frogfish tank. :happyfish Not gonna happen though, gotta have that QT!!!

It is best to cycle your tank without fish. You can cycle it using live rock and live sand if you wish. Once your tank is cycled I recommend you add fish very slowly and let your tank mature. You should be able to add some inverts at this time as well. Be sure to read up on acclimation...

I like these guys cause they appear to change color depending on how the light hits them. Sometimes they look white, blue or green depending on where they are in the tank.

Update... I got a snowflake eel instead, he's still in my QT. Anyways, the butterfly never seems to sit still. Well during the day he's out in the open and sometimes doesn't move around much but at night he swims freakishly back and forth, back and forth for hours. Is this normal?

Update, Chipmaker, thanks again for your instructions The heater in my QT has been keeping the temp at 78 +/- less than half a degree. I have reinstalled the other heater in my sump and readjusted it the same way. I'm finally able to control the temp. The QT hasn't been below 81 in a few...
