    recirculating is better than that standard nw... thing w/ recirc is that you can control tha 'flow-through' rate... thats the rate at which water enter and exit the skimmer.. with the regular type.. the pump just sucks up the water, add bublbes and spit it back out as whatever gph the skimmer...

    soo.. in reaality.. the 180 degree dont all make it to the tank.. some is shinig sideways, or at a 45 and other bad angles that dont do good for the tank.. so the reason how they get 300 % more light is cuzz they harnest and shine most of the top 180 degree back into the tank ( good reflectors...

    the main thing w/ t5 lighting is the size of the bulb and good reflector... rough breakdown.. t5 ho = t5 ( bulbs size .. t5 is about 1/2 inch diam bulb.. t8 are about 3/4 inch bulb.. t12 is about 1 1/4 inch diam) then HO = high output.. ( as in stronger than normal .. but more!! ) now...

    if it was me.. and everything is actually infested with them non-wanted pest.. i would probaly crash my tank on purpose.. ( yours gonna lose it anyways.. mite as well do it controled) id do somthing like low low SG... maybe that will kill them.. or have no light on the tank for like months...

    imo and ime, only zoos and shroom will thrive ( if even that) under your lighting.... pc = power compact= power compact flourecent ho and vho are types of florescent bulbs.. ho = high output.. vho - very high output.. what really distingiush them is the bulb size..     imo... euroreef are overpriced.. im not saying that they are bad skimmers.. just overpriced... skimmer technology have gone up big time in the last few years.. the reason why you hear about euroreef skimmer is because the use to be the industry standard as to speak.. they where the best bang...

    it comes down to $$ and time.... if you go to the big leuge.. then you better have some nice toys... it takes me 45 mins ( sfter water harvest) to do a wc.. that includes adding salt to rodi.. test it's SG .. take water out from DT.. and adding new... then you add 2 mins to clean the skimmer...

    the one stream will do a lot more than the 2 ph.. stream style pump produce a wider more wide spread flow.. while centripical (sp) ph produce strong narrow flow.. this is not good if you plan to direct water to corals... the stream will be the ticket.. you kinda dont understand what a stream...
