mystery wrasse.....six line wrasse.....sally lightfoot crab, couple emerald crabs, blood shrimp (bright red) hmmm what else is cool. hell lots of stuff....go thru the fish list on this site and pick out some cool stuff that is compatible with each other

the zoas were already attached and they go all the way around, they are fuller on the other side, but the green polyp part comes down further on this side. i wish that was my tank above....thats just one of the tanks this guy had. this piece of coral came from same guy...but different tank.

the tank it came out of only had 2 shop lights and 2 65w actinics!!! crazy huh. i am starting it low in my tank and then bringing it up higher to get adjusted to the double tip MH

the damsels will be hard to get out later, be sure if you cycle with those ...you are willing to keep them in there afterwards (it can be tough getting them out especially if you are putting live rock in there)...you might be utilizing those "fish slots" that can be used by cooler fish.

i have no idea. lol i won it an auction at this multi reef club meeting in nokomis fl. this guy hosting the meeting had 3000 gallons of salt water. too many tanks to count. all filled with corals. just to give you an idea, here is a pic of one of his many many tanks. he grows corals...

cool. ..thanks i just checked the TDS meter going in and it 169 out is 0 so even if the concentration of the water coming out is higher, 169 isnt a high level for tap water. plus i'm paying for the water anyway, might as well put it in the pool.

its time to run my ro/di unit, and i noticed my pool is low...ya think its ok to let runoff water from unit go into the pool???? :thinking:

here's a pic of the one i have...if you look at the 4 small ones...they resemble the ones in the pics above....the big ones are how they can open up....the 4 small ones are always in the shade from the bigger ones around them (doesnt look that way in pic but i had the flash on). so my guess...

oh...and nick76....thats some good looking rock, too!!!! i bet it made all the difference in your tank....i bet corals are opening up like crazy in there.
