My friend bought a lion at some LFS and just found out that it wont do to good in a 30g. So i said that i could try to take it when i get my 180 set up in a week. But i had a question, would he kill a school of large cromis or a blue damsel that are in the tank before him? o and he cant sell it...

i am setting up a 180 and i was wondering the same thing. I think i am going to do a school of tangs and cromis. but i heard that the tangs will (when older) weed out the weak tangs and attack them. but i would like a second opinion. Go with a big school of cromis

the grouper will eat the hawkfish when he gets bigger. but i heard that the hawkfish can be in a agressive tank. i think i might get one too. for my 180

sounds good to me but i have never heard of those types of groupers and if i were you i would only do one grouper cause they get soooo large. The angel might be your only concern with compatibility (sp?).

ive just bought one that is similar to the lifereef. I have done a lot of research on them and I have heard that they are good only until your pump shuts off and then you are screwed. but if you have a lifereef then you dont have any electrical parts and it never fails and even starts and stops...

if you havea power head I would just place it around that and it will move itself, i think. that is what my anemne does.

I just had a quick question, i built my stand for my 180 gallon tank and I just bought the styrofoam. i picked up the wrong stuff and cut it already. By the wrong stuff, I mean it is 1 1/2'' thick styrofoam. I know this is over kill but is it ok or will i have to buy a new sheet for it? thanks
