Pc would be good for yout ren gallon, or even better yet a 5-6 tixture. Tek makes a nice 20" fixture and sunpod makes a nice Mh fixture thats 20 inches.

I keep it in my display and it works fine for me.

Let them both run for a while and you can even take some of the media out of the HOB and put it in with the new media in your fluval.

I've got a large perc that hosts my gioniopora too, it bothers it's tentacles though and the retract. lol

What do you feed them?

If he is tank bred, he probably will never host. However the ones cought in the wild seem to much more often.

get a sunpod 30" mh fixture. I am ordering a 20" long one for my 38 cube. It's going to look nice. You may also want to look into t-5's.. They're great, low wattage, run cool, nice designs.
