Amasing thing happened tonight. I walked over to my tank about 15 minutes ago and noticed that my tank was milky white and the fish were going crazy eating something. clams

What I have read is that Clams over 3" do not require feeding and can survive on just lighting. I have always feed my tank reef snow twice a week . I don't know if that is helping or not but I was feeding my tank before I got the clam . If you do purchase one try to find one that is at least 3"...

    clams

I have one under 130W in a 29 G tank . I have a 5 inch sand bed so its about 13 inches from the lights. It's been in my tank 1+ years and shows close to 1/2 " of of new growth. By the sounds of your setup I think you will be fine just watch it closely for any signs that its not happy.

Explain how distilled water is filtered before bottled in?

I think you misunderstood. They create steam which is collected and condensed in another container. The water evaporates leaving behind the heavy metals and the steam is then transformed into clean water in another container. Sort of like the stills you see in TV or movies. The impurity stay...

    making your own coraline rock

Francis Here is my take on making your own LR with cement. I tried it and when you take into account the amount of time I spent researching it, locating and purchasing all the material (white cement so that I could get white rock instead of grey). Then the time to make it. Then you have to cure...

RO stand for reverse Osmosis (purified Water) . As guide line most folks say 1 inch of fish per 5 gallons of water. In your case that would be about 5 inches of fish. I'm sure your well over that now. Also Tangs need plenty of space preferbly 75 gallons or larger. Adding the perc to the tank...
