    another great order from SWF.COM

He arrived DOA. I have the bag flloating in the tank and hes not moving at all and his gills are also motionless. He will be the last to acclimate but Iam pretty sure hes a goner!!!

    another great order from SWF.COM

I order a tone of critters and a few corals and everything looks awsome. The only one that appears to be a goner is the lawnmower blenny. Too bad he was a fat one. Iam not worried though, SWF.COM always makes good and stands by their critters.

build up on overflow and return tubes

I got the same build up when I first started my tank, but after my tank parameters evened out it reduce the amout of algae build up by 70%. I took my prefilter out. I didnt want it being a nitrate trap. I dont see the use for the filter.

could be! i always have had good luck with the scarlet hermit crabs. they never fight or go after my snails. they are pretty peaceful. ive heard the blue legs and red legs are aggressive torwards each other and snails. ive never had them thats just what ive heard here on the board!!

    Hermits dead.

sounds like they have died. it could be from another hermit killing them for their shells also.

reef tank cycled. buy Fish or Coral first

i would stick with getting a clean up crew first. they will have plenty to eat real soon!!! i always keep my clean up crew heavly stocked in my 40 and it stays algae free except for the bubble algae break which will be taken care of with a couple of emeralds!!!

125g Reef tank cycled 200lbs LR and sand

if your tank has fully cycled then its ready for a clean up crew. once you have the cheato in you will see your nitrates drop quickly. mine did in like 2 to 4 weeks it was great.

    Question about a sump

i have a sump/refugium. adding the refugium has made my tanks water quality much better. if you decide to do a sump i would add an area for a refugium. my refugium area is maybe 8-10 gallons of a 30 gallon sump.
