Have you tried takeing a soft bristled toothbrush and tried brushing them at sometimes this helps me out when im unable to get some of my newer colonies to open?

I usually take and unthaw them on a tray or plate so the melting liquid doesnt get all over and then i take and pinch it and break it up while in the tank seems to work well for me maybe someone else has a better idea

I have several of these little guys that in my vat table currently and there all from the same clutch and a couple of them have all black little faces and a couple of the others are working on it and their about 2yrs old roughly. So i think it all depends on a little time and what their diet is...

I think their what they call cinnamon palys.......could be wrong though?

Here in ohio we see those guys go 125-150 for smalls and the adults range anywhere from 400-700 depending on where their from.

i have had good luck with splitting them big and small and thats the way ive done it all along!

Most definetly acclimate him they dont tend to handle shipping very well at all and should be left in the ocean.......but do acclimate him and see how the little guy responds.

I would Reccomend the Raccoon Butterfly Personally......i have heard of many people try copperbands and their mortality rate seems way to high to risk it. On the other hand raccoons seem to be a genrally easy fish to get acclimated to the home aquaria and seem to eat right away just my opinion.

Do you ever make it in to the toledo area? if so let me know and i can point you in the direction of a couple shops in the area that are pretty cool for their size nothing compairible to down there. But hey atleast we have something here!
