    20L aggresive

One of the smaller eels like an SFE and nothing else. Frequent water changes will be a must. Make sure you have a good top to keep the eel in. A wolf eel aka carpet blenny is way too active for a tank that size. Unlike morays they don't just sit in the rocks all day.

    The damaged coral bin

I have mine about a third of the way up on a 72 bow. 260 watts pc and just a little current blowing it's way. Greatly expands each day and seems to love that spot. A great coral and you got a great buy. Good luck with him. Here's mine.

    Home Depot lighting

The fixtures will be ok but spend the few extra dollars and get quality lamps. URI bulbs will give you the most bang for the buck.

    two wrasses together?

I think adding them both at the same time greatly increases your chances of them getting along.

    Is it ok?

Conchs are relatively safe and do a good job of eating stuff off of your sand bed and sometimes glass. Of course whelks are a different story. Great pic Melody!

    yellow tang always hiding??

How long have you had the YT? They tend to be out in the open staying busy picking algea off the rocks all day. If he's hiding out that could be indicative of stress. Keep a close eye on him for ich. Good Luck!

    Spotted hawk

I've kept a spotted hawk in a 10 gallon for over a year. In fact, he stays at the office with me now. Great personality and is like a puppy. But, it's his tank and with the exception of snails and a sargassum angler fish which hung out for a month or so, NOBODY, is allowed in his tank. Mean...

    Lawnmower Blenny

That's my experience too. Mine will eat algea off the rocks and glass but hasn't done much with the longer stuff on the rocks.

    Hi, I'm The New Guy

Yep! $60.00. (remember the first time you heard $20.00 for A fish and your heart almost stopped? where did my common sense go?) His colors are even nicer in person. My wife is handfeeding him shrimp and silversides. Very tame already.

Over Skimming on an Aggressive Tank

I like the concept of double the advertised rate for a large bioload such as an aggressive tank. My skimmer is rated for 300 gallons used on a 125. Euro-reefs are supposed to be the some of the best so double may be a bit much. I'd think a rated 500 for a 480 gallon would be looking at...

Way to go! Let's see the pics when you get them. What size tank?

    brine shrimp?

Probably copepods or amphipods. Do a search and you'll see some examples. It's unlikely brine shrimp are hatching in your tank.

    rock anemone

This a rock anemone. Aptasia generally is considered undesireable. I wouldn't worry unless it's a reef tank though:

    Is it ok?

Sounds more like a conch if you're seeing a long tube come out. Should move from spot to spot though. Sounds like your tank is still pretty unstable. Go slow and read more. Good Luck!

    Stocking 38 gallon

Both of those should do fine. If it was me I'd add them both at the same time. That would pretty much ensure no territorial issues. That would make you tank pretty much stocked and I think would be a nice combo.

There are some great DIY plans on the net. Just do a search on DIY sumps and you'll get plenty of ideas.

    Bo, LR

Bo, meant to tell you earlier. Gordon has some curred LR from someone who tore down their tank. Letting it go for $2 a lb. Might want to swing by before it's all gone. I got about 18 lbs yesterday for my 125. Good looking stuff! It's setting out but it's still moist. Passes the snip test...

    Schooling Yellow Tangs?

If the tanks established my vote is for all at once. If it's not established I'd say wait until it is. Sounds great. Let's see pics if you go that route!
