i feed mine all the time, he to was skinny when i bought him. i feed him carnivore frozen mix with a rigid plastice tube conected to an eye dropper. he is the easiest fish to feed in the world. got to love em.

you can find the meaty food he speaks of at the grocery store of the LPS. MAKE SURE whatever you buy is fresh uncooked seafood. frozen is fine. i would think that you could put it in front of him and wait till he grabs hold.

what type of lights do you want MH, T5? What are you putting in the tank. that big of a tank you probably want to keep anything and everything. if so then mucho diñero is unpreventable.

why bother taking sand from your 3 gal if your buying ten lbs of LS. YES, LS will slowly make the rest of the sand alive. i would put the DS first and then the LS, but thats just me. i think that you need 1lb per gallon for a good sand bed.

you have to think that how much is there to clean in a new tank. i myself just slowly add crabs and shrimp tell i feel everyone can live well. i have heard one snail to every gallon, but i would think that is a good way to make inverts fight and kill eachother. they basic critters you need are...

he just sit there with his whole body exposed. there are plenty of holes or crevices that he could hide in but i guess he doesnt want to or just hasnt found the right one. Jaw and Tigger, did your blenny ever get any bigger than 2". he is so small i thought he could get at least a little bigger...

here he is in all of his glory. he is about 1-1 1/2 inches in length. the LFS said he was a barnacle blenny but i dont think so. no barnacle blenny i have seen looks like that. i am positive that is a clubhead blenny. my only question is did i get ripped off or did i slip one by them. let me...

thats an anemone crab he has a pic of. look on this site and their pic is almost identicle. they are very attractive crabs. i want to know what the thing is in your last pic. it looks like maybe a shrimp? :notsure:

nice setup. wouldnt it be easier to just make sections instead of the whole wall. it will be a nice safe haven for pods and stuff.

i only have one other fish. it is a clown. he stays to him self. it a 46 gal. the coral beauty just chases him when he is out and the CB is near him. it is usually not that bad but today it seems to be constant. i dont think the CB hit her head, but you never know. ..........oh, and the rock...

the coral beauty was added first, which wasnt the smartest idea. the diamond goby was added about 3 weeks ago .
