i have heard "not reef safe" from the LFS, but have never read anything on the internet or in books that backs there statement up. i think that they would be fine if not starving and desperate. i would wait to see if someone else either agrees or disagrees with me before you make any choices...

how can that big of a spot just pop up in less than 12 hours? i have been battling what i think is HLLE. i am not sure becuase it practically goes away leaving no marks. so that is way i am not sure if that is what he had when i bought him.

i dont think they would be asterina starfish, becuase he said he had one large star fish. i pretty sure they "babies" look identicle to his original. i have never seen 6-legged red asterina. that would be cool if they were, then he should be fine.

i still had alot of color on my sand when it was that new. you could try to mix up the sand bed your self or just get something like a conch or nass snails. i still dont think its anything to worry about.

your angel is going to need a varied diet. that way you dont have to worry about HLLE. You NEED to reasearch each of your fishes individual needs and create a schedule for your self. no fish should be stuck on a one coarse diet. just take some time and figure out what will work for you and the fish.

angels and goby are not a great mix. i got the same tank you do and i have a daimond and a coral beauty and the angel never stop chasing him around. i only have three fish in mine, so i cant say with certainty if your capped. your maroon with get about 6" i think and your engineer will get about...

it just might be some normal algea. try to up your flow or cut back on feeding if it starts getting out of control.

yes i am. i have noticed big price swings from state to state. At least both LFS are right next to eachother. I dont really consider any of the other stores a fish store. if they sell dog food or have a huge lizard on the roof i dont go there for SW fish.

cardinals, neon gobies, damsels, etc. i have never read any books just about breeding. i have always just searched the web, good info out there.
