I will start doing water changes son as i get home.... i have a cleaner shrimp... 2 blue leg hermit, 3 nas snails and about 6 turbos.. should i get more.... Man i thought i had this down but lookin at the nitrates i am starting to get worried.. all the fishes are acting and looking normal too...

i will clean it tonight.... i do 5 gal chnges on my 55... so thats about 10% i will do one today and anothr sat...hopefully everything will be ok.... i am thinking about just taking the media out cuz i just got the skimmer and it should play a big part in to lowering everything... i still dont...

its been running for about 32 hrs.... 18 of which was without the bubbles... stil no skimmate!

Can not changing your filter media creat a nitrate problem? if soo i got a busy day tom!!! i did a water change last week.. my nitrates are still high...i m gona prepare more water for another change but i think i have to wait cuz i have my skimmer on now and it should help.. and also i never...

the ***** near my house though not the best quality water.. i got my clown from them and recently a firefish and they are .... they both acclimated just fine.. also one of the workers was teling me that ***** is trying to eliminate all saltwater fishes from there stores... and keep only fresh...

Ohh and one more question... i think i know but.. i do have to turn the skimmer off when adding top off water and doing water changes rite?

WOOHOOO got it to work... now ther are micro bubbbles ... ALRIGHT!!! :jumping: one last quick question.... i had it running from last night .. and the bubbles just started coming in... does the break in start now or did it start last night?

exactly rite.. i mean i had the instruction book rite in front of me it looks exacty what its supose to look like.... when i blow air in to the silencer i c the bubbles startng to come soon as i stop it stops.... and i can c the water in the tube.. its really weird!

when i got it it was already connected to the inlet.. where the pump pulls the water in ... and theres water in it! you think there is something wrong wit the skimmer? should i return it?

it is well above the water lever but the water keeps goin in... shud i just take everything out and drain it and put it in the tank again?

haha nice... mine isnt working properly.. there is water in the airtube and there are no bubbles and i cant get the water out of the air tube i tried all night!

yah there is water in there.. when i blow the bubbles come and as soon as i stop the water gets back in the tube!!! this sucks!

i got my CL SS65 today i am trying to set it up but there are no microbubles becuas water keeps geting in the airinlet tube... any one knows how i can get it to work properly!!!? :notsure: i am very agrivated!!! urgh!! :mad:

becareful with the cholate chip star...... and ur snails... he ate most of mine when i had him!!!

my tank is about 2 yr old and i still got diatoms!.....i was told it was mainly because i didnt have enough flow inside the tank... i only had 10x.. i oredered more phs with a wavemaker so that should resolve the problem!

i just got mine today... i was thinking can i make a hole in the colelction cup to add pipe and run it to a bottle or something so i wont have to clean my colelction cup daily?
